Website Terms of Use
Version 0.3 — effective 9 October 2026
The terms that govern your use of the informational website at albane.ai.
About these Terms
These Website Terms of Use (the “Website Terms”) govern your use of the informational website at albane.ai, including the pages at albane.ai, teams.albane.ai, albane.ai/causes, connect.albane.ai, albane.ai/contact and the blog at albane.ai/blog (the “Website”). The Website is operated by albane meaningful giving Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office at 447 Broadway, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10013 (“albane”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using the Website, you agree to these Website Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
These Website Terms do not govern the albane app at app.albane.ai, the albane mobile applications, or any donation, checkout, campaign, subscription or payment flow. Those are governed by the albane Terms & Conditions published at app.albane.ai/legal/terms.
What the Website is
The Website provides information about albane and lets you join a waiting list, register a nonprofit organization’s interest, book a demonstration of albane Connect, or contact us. You cannot create an account, make or schedule a donation, or make a payment through the Website.
Waiting lists, nonprofit interest and inquiries
- Joining the donor waiting list does not guarantee access to albane or a particular launch date.
- Submitting a nonprofit organization’s information does not approve the organization, create a public listing, or authorize it to receive donations through albane. Any onboarding is subject to separate verification, documentation, and the terms presented at that time.
- A demonstration request or inquiry is not a contract, a binding offer, or a guarantee of availability, pricing, integration or service levels. Any business relationship is subject to a separate written agreement.
- You must be at least 18 years old to submit a form on the Website.
- You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it, including when you submit it on behalf of an organization.
Information on the Website
Content on the Website is general information about albane and about features that are available or under development. A description of a feature under development is not a promise that it will become available, or when. This section explains how to read the Website; it does not approve, substantiate or qualify any particular statement made elsewhere on the Website. Nothing on the Website is financial, legal, investment or tax advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Website in violation of any law or the rights of others;
- submit false or misleading information, or information about another person or organization without authorization;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems;
- use automated means to submit forms or to collect content from the Website; or
- submit payment-card details, bank-account credentials, government identification, passwords, medical information or other sensitive information through a Website form.
Intellectual property
The Website and its content, including the albane name and logo, are owned by albane or its licensors. You may view the Website and share links to it. You may not copy, modify or reuse its content or marks without our written permission.
Third-party services
Parts of the Website rely on services operated by third parties. Booking a demonstration of albane Connect uses Google Calendar’s appointment scheduling: Google operates that booking page, and Google’s own terms and privacy policy govern that service and Google’s own processing.
That does not limit our responsibility for our own handling of your information. The first name, last name and email address you enter when you book a demonstration are collected for albane and are held in albane’s Google Workspace account, and we remain responsible for how we use and keep them, as described in our Privacy Notice. What we are not responsible for is the content, availability or practices of a third-party service itself, or information you give to a third party for that third party’s own purposes.
Privacy
Our Privacy Notice, at https://albane.ai/legal/privacy/, explains how we handle the information you submit through the Website. It covers the donor and nonprofit waiting lists, the contact form, and the first name, last name and email address you give when you book a demonstration of albane Connect, which reach us through Google Calendar’s booking page and are held in albane’s Google Workspace account.
Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALBANE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALBANE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Changes to these Website Terms
We may update these Website Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Website Terms on the Website and change the version number and the effective date at the top.
Governing law and venue
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent that mandatory law applicable to you requires otherwise. Except where applicable law requires another forum, any dispute arising from or relating to the Website must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
